Day Wise Itinerary

Upon arrival at Gwalior Airport or Railway Station, you will be met by a Beyond Khajuraho Tours chauffeur outside the arrival hall. You will then be transferred by surface to Panna. Standard hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will receive your Beyond Khajuraho Tours kit, along with all necessary travel documents and contact details for local support.

 

Panna is home to the renowned Panna National Park, one of India’s significant tiger reserves, known for its thriving tiger population, dramatic plateaus, teak forests and the serene Ken River flowing through the landscape.

 

Check in at your luxury jungle lodge and spend the remainder of the day at leisure, absorbing the natural surroundings and tranquil wilderness atmosphere. Overnight stay at your jungle lodge in Panna.

Early morning proceeds for a shared Jeep safari into Panna National Park. The park remains open from 1st October to 30th June and is closed during the monsoon season (generally July to September). The park remains closed on Wednesday afternoons. Safari timings vary seasonally as per Forest Department regulations and are allocated at the time of permit confirmation.

 

Spread across a diverse landscape of dry deciduous forests and riverine belts, the reserve is known for Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer and a rich variety of birdlife. The Ken River enhances the park’s ecological richness and scenic beauty. Return to the lodge for leisure time.

 

In the afternoon, proceed for another shared Jeep safari in Panna National Park, offering further opportunities for wildlife tracking under the guidance of an authorised naturalist. Each safari provides a different forest zone experience depending on permit allocation. Overnight stay at your jungle lodge in Panna.

After breakfast, drive back to Gwalior.

Upon arrival in Gwalior, you will be transferred to the Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
