Day Wise Itinerary

Upon arrival at Khajuraho Airport, you will be met by a Beyond Khajuraho Tours chauffeur outside the arrival hall. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Standard hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will receive your Beyond Khajuraho Tours kit, along with all necessary travel documents and contact details for local support.

 

Later proceed to visit the remarkable Western Group of Temples (Open daily from sunrise to sunset). This UNESCO World Heritage Site represents the architectural zenith of the Chandela dynasty, renowned for its intricate sandstone carvings that portray divine imagery, celestial beings and refined expressions of medieval Indian artistry.

 

Continue to Kandariya Mahadev Temple (Open daily from sunrise to sunset), the largest and most ornate temple within the complex, distinguished by its soaring shikhara and remarkable sculptural detail dedicated to Lord Shiva.

 

In the evening, enjoy a complimentary 45-minute Ayurvedic massage session at a reputed wellness centre in Khajuraho, designed to relax the body and rejuvenate the senses after your journey. Overnight stay in the hotels, Khajuraho.

After breakfast and check-out, proceed to visit Raneh Falls (Open daily from 0600 hrs to 1800 hrs). This striking natural canyon along the Ken River is formed of multi-coloured crystalline granite in shades of red, pink and grey, creating a dramatic geological landscape.

 Later continue your drive to Panna and check in at your jungle safari lodge. Standard hotel check-in time is 1400 hrs.

Panna is home to the renowned Panna National Park, a prominent tiger reserve known for its successful conservation programme and diverse ecosystem of teak forests, grasslands and riverine habitat. Overnight stay in the hotel, Panna.

 

Early morning proceeds for a shared Jeep safari inside Panna National Park. The park remains open from 1st October to 30th June and is closed during the monsoon season (generally July to September). The park remains closed on Wednesday afternoons. Safari timings vary seasonally as per Forest Department regulations and are allocated at the time of permit confirmation.

 

The reserve’s varied landscape offers opportunities to sight Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer and diverse birdlife, accompanied by an authorised forest guide and naturalist.

 

Return to the lodge for relaxation.

 

In the afternoon, proceed for another shared Jeep safari inside Panna National Park, exploring a different zone subject to permit allocation, enhancing your wildlife experience. Overnight stay in the hotel, Panna.

 

After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho.

Upon arrival in Khajuraho, you will be transferred to Khajuraho Airport to board your onward flight or  Railway Station for your onward journey.
