Morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed by full day tour of Old and New Delhi in the afternoon. Old Delhi was an ancient walled city. Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. Shahjahan possessed an exquisite talent, especially in architecture, and created the seventh city of Delhi. This process brought about a phase of Delhi’s glorious renaissance. Here you will see the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, built by Shah Jahan in 1648, the most opulent Fort, and Palace of the Mughal Empire. The fort is Shahjahan’s symbol of power and elegance, built behind sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandani Chowk, the perpetually narrow avenue heading west from the Red Fort, is filled with twisting lanes, small streets and crowded bazaars. Also visit Rajghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India.,Chandni Chowk, the famous bustling and colorful market since mughal Period of the old city. Chandni Chowk was the commercial center of Delhi in the old time and you will see it come alive in the morning as the trading day starts. Enjoy rickshaw ride through the street.

After lunch continues city tour covering New Delhi. New Delhi was designed and built by the British in the 1920’s – it’s a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green gardens. In 1911 King George V announced the transfer of the capital from Calcutta to Delhi after the revolt of 1857. The King’s architects, Lutyens and Baker, set in motion the Design and construction of Delhi’s which is often know as Lutyen’s city. New Delhi the eight city was designed as an “Imperial City” having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. It took 20 years to complete this immense undertaking only to have the British pack up and relinquish the subcontinent in 1947.
You shall also visit two monuments from Delhi’s past – Humayun’s Tomb, regarded as a prototype of the famed Taj Mahal, it is built by emperor Humanyun’s wife which took eight years to complete, Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty, drive along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate – a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the World War -I & Afghan war, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Agra, Visit Agra – known for one of the seven wonder of the world. En route visit the famous tomb of Akbar “Sikandra” – tomb of 3rd mughal emperor “Akbar the Great” and continue journey towards Agra. Proceed to Agra and check in at hotel. Agra was the capital of the great Mughal Empire, during 16- 17 century. This period saw the city became a leading center of art, science, commerce, and culture. References of the origin of this magnificent city are found in Mahabharata, however Sikandar Lodhi founded the modern city of Agra. Later Akbar’s grandfather Babur stayed here for some years but the splendid of Agra heritage was built by Akbar. The short golden age of Agra came to an end with the seventeenth century reign of Shahjahan, mastermind of the unforgettable Taj Mahal. Later visit Agra fort the rusty and majestic red- sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566 and Idmad-Ud-Dola {Baby Taj Mahal}.
In Evening enjoy panoramic view of Sunset Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife.

After breakfast drive to Jaipur (once the capital of Rajasthan province -known as “the abode of Rajahs”). Everywhere you will see the monuments of its Rajput rulers. Jaipur is one of the main centers for shopping in India – especially with regard to textiles, jewelery, stones carpets, etc. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri – the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. Ponder the mysterious desertion of this capital city that was dramatically abandoned in few years after it was built. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel.
Evening we shall drive to Choki Dhani Village resort for special Rajasthani Dinner and return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast depart for excursion to Amber Fort –11 Km from Jaipur, a marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts. Go up to the fort on the back of a gaily-caparisoned elephant, true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interior of the fort has various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror, and glasswork complemented by exquisite wall paintings. As you move between the rooms of this magnificent structure, you will feel the history and visualize the pomp and grandeur of a kingdom never conquered. Later return to the hotel or to a city restaurant where you can relax & enjoy your lunch.

Venture back into the city, for the tour of Jaipur. This afternoon you will visit the City Palace Museum where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Art. The museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armoury of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and processions, also visit the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar (an accurate observatory built in 1726 AD). Also visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) – a five-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes, and spires. Overnight stay at hotel.
