Day 01: Haridwar - Guptkashi (210kms/7-8hr) HT : 1319 MTS.

Pickup from Haridwar Railway Station, drive straight to Guptkashi. On arrival Check In at the Hotel, evening visit Ardh Narishwar Temple. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares. Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Gupt Kashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (hereditary pilgrimage priests) live in Gupt Kashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Gupt Kashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.

Day 02: Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30kms by road & 19kms Trek)

Early Morning: Drive to Sitapur/Sonprayag, then transfer to Gaurikund by local jeep (on your own). Start the trek to Kedarnath (3584 m) by pony/doli. Carry personal medicines, warm clothes, toiletries for an overnight stay. Visit Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Kedarnath: Set against the majestic Himalayan range, this sacred shrine is part of the Panch Kedar. According to legend, Lord Shiva, evading the Pandavas, took the form of a bull and vanished into the ground here, leaving his hump. His other parts appeared at Tungnath (arms), Rudranath (face), Madhmaheshwar (belly), and Kalpeshwar (head & hair).
Day 03: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19Kms Down Trek & 30kms/1hr by Road)

Day 04: Guptkashi - Badrinath (210kms/7-8hr) HT : 3133 MTS.

Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, check-in at hotel. Evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay.
Badrinath (3,133 m) is a revered Char Dham pilgrimage site, nestled between Nar-Narayan mountains with Neelkanth Peak in the backdrop.
Main attractions:
- Tapt Kund (hot spring)
- Narad Kund, Brahma Kapal (ancestral rituals)
- Sheshnetra, Charanpaduka, Mata Murti Temple
- Mana Village (last Indian village)
- Vasundhara Falls, Bhim Pul, Vyas Gufa
Day 05: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160kms) / Kirtinagar (190kms)

Early morning, after bathing in Tapt Kund, pilgrims have Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahmakapal is important for Pind Daan rituals. Nearby sights within 3 km include Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the origin of the Saraswati River.
Later, drive back to Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar via Joshimath. Check-in at hotel, overnight stay.
Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath, established by Adi Shankaracharya. Key site: Narsingh Temple, where a prophecy says when the deity’s left arm fully withers, Badrinath will shift to Bhavishya Badri in Niti Valley.
Day 06: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar (160kms/5hr) / Kirtinagar – Rishikesh - Haridwar (135kms/4hr)
