Day Wise Day Itinerary

Delhi pays an ideal host to your Rajasthan Desert Romance tour. Out staff representative will accord you a warm reception on your arrival in the city. You will also be assisted to check in a desired hotel of your choice. Dinner is optional. You can enjoy sumptuous Indian cuisines as per your appetite. An overnight stay is scheduled in Delhi.

The second day of your tour to Rajasthan starts with a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. Later you will set forth for a sightseeing tour of the city. Delhi represents itself as a vibrant and colourful city enriched with an affluent cultural and historical background. Ideally represented by two halves- Old Delhi and New Delhi, the city is an ideal destination in your India tour.

Post breakfast you will set forth for your onward destination in Agra. On arrival in Agra you will be assisted to accommodate in a hotel of your own choice for relaxation.

Later proceed ahead to visit the splendid monument of love in India, the Taj Mahal. An unmatched beauty, the Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders in the world. Built as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal by Shah Jahan, the Taj depicts mute tales of the profound love story between the emperor and his beloved wife.

Agra Fort, designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built with barricaded wall of red sand stone; it houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchhi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Meena Bazar, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Musamman Burj where from Taj Mahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort. So very ironically, Emperor Sahahjahan, prisoner of his son Aurangzeb in his old age was put in a cell from where he could gaze at the Taj Mahal at a distance, from his cell in the fort.

In the evening enjoy strolling around the colourful markets in the city. A sumptuous Indian dinner in a local Indian restaurant follows. Later relocate to hotel and stay overnight at Agra.

On this fourth day of your Rajasthan Itinerary you will be driven to your next destination in Jaipur, the pink city of India. On the way you will bypass Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted town of the Mughal Empire. The must visit sites in the town include Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal etc.

On arrival in Jaipur you will be relocated in a desired hotel. Spend overnight at Jaipur after relishing a sumptuous dinner at the hotel.

Post breakfast you will set forth for a fascinating trip to the Amber Fort mounting upon elephant. The Amber Fort is a regal monument which offers quite a majestic venue to explore in your Rajasthan tour. On the way to the fort you will bypass the Hawa Mahal also known as Palace of Wind.

you will visit the City Palace Museum where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Art. The museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armoury of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and processions, also visit the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar (an accurate observatory built in 1726 AD).

In the afternoon post lunch you will enjoy strolling around the flamboyant bazaars of the city. In the later evening you will be driven through the new city of Jaipur and pay a visit to the Laxmi Narayan Mandir, a Hindu temple made out of white marble.

Later enjoy a sumptuous dinner with a live presentation of Indian music and dance. Retire for the rest of the night at the hotel post dinner.

Morning after having breakfast drive to Pushkar holy city. On arrival check-in at your hotel. Later visit various temples and ghats and holy Pushkar Lake. There are more than 400 hundred temples in Pushkar but the main attraction being the temple of Lord Brahma, the only temple in India dedicated to Brahma. If it is the month of October/November then you are lucky to enjoy the world famous cattle fair of Pushkar. Rest of the time completely free to explore the Pushkar on your own. Over night in your hotel.

On this sixth day of your Rajasthan Tour you will be driven to Udaipur from Jaipur. On the way you will visit the Jain Temples at Ranakpur. Popularly known as the most romantic city of Rajasthan, Udaipur is a splendid city where you will unravel an ecstatic vacation. Built around shimmering, clear and blue water lakes reflecting the lush green hills of the Aravali ranges, Udaipur is a desired destination in Rajasthan.

On arrival in Udaipur you will be accommodated in a palace hotel for relaxation. In the evening you will enjoy boat ride in the lake Pichola. Once the summer residence of the former rulers, the Lake Palace of Udaipur provides a splendid sight to onlookers and is a must site to visit.

An overnight stay at Udaipur is scheduled after a sumptuous dinner is served at the resort.

Post breakfast at the resort you will explore a sightseeing tour in Udaipur. Known as the city of sunrise Udaipur has various attractions for tourists to explore.

The trip starts with a visit to the Sahelion- Ki- Bari, a garden of the maids of honours well laid out with extensive lawns and shady walks. Later you will visit the Museum of Folk Art which houses a rich collection of Folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, doll Folk musical instruments and paintings.

Later after lunch at a local Indian restaurant you will proceed ahead to City Palace, the biggest palace in India. The Palace is a fine example of the architectural brilliance of the Rajasthani artists. There is also a museum in the palace which includes beautiful peacock mosaic and miniature wall paintings of Indian mythology.

Relocate back to the resort and relax for some time. Dinner is scheduled in the resort after which you will retire for the rest of the night at the resort.

Post breakfast you will be driven to Jodhpur from Udaipur. Jodhpur is a clean city in Rajasthan which is an ideal destination in a Rajasthan itinerary. The white washed houses in the city shine and present an eye- friendly sight to its onlookers.

On your arrival in Jodhpur you will be accommodated in a hotel assisted by our staff executive. In the morning enjoy sightseeing tour of the city. The various highlights of the tour include the following attractions :

  • Phool Mahal
  • Jaswant Thada

An overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel after relishing a sumptuous dinner.

Enjoy morning drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival in Jaisalmer check in a hotel and relax awhile. Enjoy a leisurely day in the hotel. In the evening you will enjoy strolling around the various colourful markets in the city. An overnight stay in the hotel is scheduled after serving a sumptuous Indian dinner.

Post breakfast you will explore a city tour of Jaisalmer. The various monuments in the city are the finest works of the great talent of stone masons who covered the city with limestone carvings. Also visit famous attractions which include:

In the late afternoon enjoy camel ride on the sand dunes. Later relocate to the hotel and stay overnight after enjoying a delicious dinner.

Today you will be driven to Bikaner from Jaisalmer. On arrival in Bikaner you will be accommodated in a hotel assisted by our staff representative. In the afternoon you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city. Bikaner is a fascinating destination in Rajasthan enriched by its rippling sands and abundant sunshine.

The city boasts of a 16th century fort which houses old palaces, temples and mosque. The attractions in the city include Lalgarh Palace, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshmoke Rat Temple.

An overnight stay is scheduled at Bikaner after a sumptuous dinner served at the hotel.

You will be driven to Mandawa from Bikaner. On arrival check in at hotel and relax. Post lunch at the hotel enjoy a visit to Mukandgarh/ Mandawa. Founded by Thakur Nawal Singh in 1755 Mandawa is dotted with fascinating mansions that have lavishly painted walls.

Post breakfast you will be driven to Delhi from Mandawa. On arrival in Delhi you will enjoy last minute shopping and sightseeing. In the late evening you will be timely transferred to the International airport for your onward destination
